Next Floor: Accelerator for tourism startups

With Klazz I have been working in the EdTech and tourism environment for some time. I came across the Next Floor Accelerator in Salzburg, which is backed by, among others, the Swiss business angel Thomas Bodmer stuck. Since there are few accelerators in the tourism environment that actually bring any benefit, I would like to introduce Thomas' initiative in more detail here.

The Investors Club NextFloor operates the accelerator and bases the move into tourism on the basis of the great innovation expertise that founders and start-ups in the tourism environment already have. But they are also wanted Innovations from outside the industry that are relevant to tourism could. The first program for startups from all over the world lasts three months and starts on March 4, 2019.

We are looking for solutions to problems in the following areas:

Digitalization (with a focus on tourism)

New tourism concepts

Medical tourism

Nursing (with a focus on tourism)

Innovative personnel concepts (with a focus on tourism)

Sustainability (with a focus on tourism)

Strategies for dealing with the limits of growth (overtourism)

Mobility (with a focus on tourism)
